I "laminated" a paper die-cut with tape. The die-cut came from the Making Memories project pad linked at the bottom of this entry.

I took a bunch of paint swatches from Lowe's like two years ago, and I never succeeded in doing a collage with them until now. It's supposed to be an abstract sunset type thing, but in the end I just settled for having fun. Cut up paint swatches and used rubber cement. I "laminated" it with tape which sort of took away from the appearance but will help with durability.

I'm in a long-distance relationship, and my boyfriend was in town for the first half of this week. Everything's pretty self explanatory here. Lyrics by Death Cab, magazine cut out from an ad in Nylon.

Magazine cut outs from Nylon. Jason is my boyfriend. My "goal" refers to my work. Studio Talk was an event we did.

The colors are a little distorted--I used colored pencils on the little doodle on Tuesday, and it reminds me of Oh, the Places You Will Go. :D

  • I color-code like crazy. Orange is my Late 19th Century American Literature class. Fuchsia is for my weight-loss tracking. The maroon color is for my Contemporary Social Problems class. Light blue is for my James Joyce class. Green is for my Advanced Fiction Workshop class. Purple is for my Drawing I class. The light teal color is for any extraneous appointments, activities, or reminders I need for myself. Black is for work. Red dots next to my classes indicate I skipped that class (don't count them, please). Brown is for television programs.

ah thanks! i totally recommend making your planner pretty, it will encourage you to use it and think of it as something fun rather than a burden.

I used to be in the community organizers but have decided to make a community that is monitored a little differently. I used to post weekly. Anyways, check it out and see if you're interested. Your planner is stunning and I'd love to have you over!
